Our Cocotinie soap is made from pure coconut oil sourced directly from local farms in Goa.
“Cocotinie”, a 100% pure coconut oil soap is made with only 3 ingredients and has a light, delicate, natural aroma of coconut. Named for my mother, Christine, this was the first soap I made for her and still her all time favourite.

1. Can I use this soap everyday?
Of course! Our cocotinie soap is mild and nourishing and perfect for every day use.
2. Why is my soap wet/melting?
Our soaps contain a very high content of natural plant glycerin, this is a by product of the soap making process and this glycerin is very moisturizing and usually removed from commercial soaps and sold for use in lotions, thus making you buy 2 products. As we retain all our glycerin, the soaps tend to pull moisture out of the air and get wet.
3. if you want to avoid moisture why don't you seal your soaps in plastic?
we are doing our best to maintain our commitment to being environmentally friendly and this is why we package in paper and not plastic.
4. Is it safe for children?
Our Cocotinie soap is perfectly safe for children as it contains no fragrance or essential oil. However, it is not tear-free and will burn if your child gets it in their eyes.
5. why is your soap more expensive?
We use premium quality natural oils like coconut oil, olive oil, kokum butter, mango butter, sunflower oil, avocado oil, etc.. to make our soaps. Commercial soap bars are made using palm oil, mineral oil (petroleum based) and other nasty ingredients. High quality ingredients are more expensive and this makes our soaps cost more.
