Kuva's handmade all natural soap, is scented with floral, citrus and herb notes, this bar is warm, uplifting and relaxing and easy like a lazy Sunday. With the added goodness of moisturizing oils like Mango and kokum butter, this bar is a tropical delight.
“Ilhas” meaning islands in Portuguese is coloured with French green kaolin clay and Indigo herbal powder to showcase the tropical greens and blues of our skies, rivers, beaches, hillsides, forests and fields of our home state Goa, India. Growing up, Sundays were always beach days, spent in the sun with the taste of salt in your mouth which was washed out with a dip in the local freshwater spring near my grandmother's house in Saligao and followed by a traditional Goan lunch, the precursor to a long siesta that rounded out the perfect Sunday. Goa may not be an island, but our vibe definitely is.

1. Can I use this soap everyday?
Of course! Our soap is mild and nourishing and perfect for every day use.
2. Why is my soap wet/melting?
Our soaps contain a very high content of natural plant glycerin, this is a by product of the soap making process and this glycerin is very moisturizing and usually removed from commercial soaps and sold for use in lotions, thus making you buy 2 products. As we retain all our glycerin, the soaps tend to pull moisture out of the air and get wet.
3. if you want to avoid moisture why don't you seal your soaps in plastic?
we are doing our best to maintain our commitment to being environmentally friendly and this is why we package in paper and not plastic.
4. Is it safe for children?
Our soap is perfectly safe for children above 3 years as it contains essential oils. However, it is not tear-free and will burn if your child gets it in their eyes.
5. why is your soap more expensive?
We use premium quality natural oils like coconut oil, olive oil, kokum butter, mango butter, sunflower oil, avocado oil, etc.. to make our soaps. Commercial soap bars are made using palm oil, mineral oil (petroleum based) and other nasty ingredients. High quality ingredients are more expensive and this makes our soaps cost more.
